Texas Roadhouse is a family friendly restaurant that we love going to for special occasions. My kids love getting their fried dilled pickles because of the delicious flavor and the perfect crunch.

If you have been following me for awhile you know I love making copycat recipes from our favorite restaurants. My kids said that I made the perfect copycat fried pickles recipe and even said they taste better.

All you need is a few simple ingredients to make these fried pickles at home. Add this delicious dipping sauce or a side of ranch for the ultimate appetizer. Serve for your next game day party or for an afternoon snack.

  • Cajun Seasoning

  • Dried Basil

  • Mayonnaise
  • Ketchup
  • Horseradish
  • Cajun Seasoning

How to Make Texas Roadhouse Fried Pickles:

  • Step 1 – Mix dipping ingredients – Mix together the dipping sauce ingredients and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • Step 2 – Combine dry ingredients for pickles – Mix together the flour, cajun seasoning, oregano, basil and cayenne pepper. Coat the sliced pickles in the flour mixture.

  • Step 3 – Heat oil in pan – Add oil to a small saucepan. You’ll need about 2 tablespoons of oil. Heat on medium heat until it has reached a temperature of 375 degrees F.
  • Step 4 – Fry the pickles – Place the coated pickles in the oil and fry on each side. Fry until the pickles are golden brown (approximately 2-3 minutes per side).

How to Store Leftovers:

Refrigerate the leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days. The pickles will get soft when they are stored. You can reheat them in oil for 1 minute to make them crispy again.

Make sure they are completely cool before placing in the container. This will help prevent any condensation from making them soggy inside the container.

  • Change Seasoning – We used an easy cajun seasoning, but you can use any seasoning you prefer. Other options include, Italian Seasoning or other dried seasoning.

  • 1/2 cup Flour
  • 2 teaspoons Cajun Seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dried Oregano
