Summer dessert recipes that are the perfect end to your barbecue or meal, full of seasonal berries and fruits that are a real delight to eat!

Summer dessert recipes are all about the berries: the raspberries, strawberries, blackberries, as well as light, fluffy meringues and indulgent cream. Peaches, apricots and rhubarb are also in season, so we've got plenty of really delicate, delightful recipes to finish off a great meal - and they're best enjoyed outside, if the weather permits of course!

In season between April and October, strawberries enjoyed with cream are so quintessentially British, and once British strawberries start appearing in the supermarket, we know that summer is finally upon us. Blackberry season goes from June through to November, as does raspberry season and blueberries thrive in the UK for a shorter time, from June until September.
