About HCA Florida Palms West Hospital
Located on a spacious 94-acre campus, Palms west Hospital is a 204-bed, acute care facility that has been providing high-quality healthcare to the Palm Beach County and Loxahatchee communities for more than 30 years. The hospital offers a wide range of specialty services, including a full-service Children’s Hospital and a Pediatric emergency room (ER), which are actively growing and function as a Pediatric Safety Net Hospital. Hospital leadership is especially proud about its people and its central focus on its patients and the community, which make Palms West Hospital special.
The hospital sponsors a Pediatric residency program and hosts rotating residents from several HCA East Florida programs, in Family Medicine, Surgery, Orthopedics, and Emergency Medicine, as well as rotating students from our partner medical schools.
Hospital- and GME leadership are proud to deliver world-class education to its residents, in a collegial, supportive and collaborative environment that is focused on resident wellness and satisfaction, and the success of each learner. The Palms West Pediatric program boast a near 100% initial attempt specialty board pass rate and high fellowship match rates for those residents seeking sub-specialty training.
Living in Royal Palm Beach, Loxahachee or Wellington means you are less than 15 miles away from the South Florida beaches and West Palm Beach, and there is really no excuse to be bored when living here. There are may places to go and lots or outdoor activities. Wellington is also the winter equestrian capital of the world.
